Our Solution

Working with Signeasy, we at Slate developed a focused 4-month strategy to align their digital presence with how large language models (LLMs) discover and recommend content. The approach targeted high-intent queries and positioned Signeasy as a go-to solution in AI-generated responses.

Strategic Page Prioritization

Rather than creating entirely new content, we helped Signeasy leverage their existing high-performing assets. Our approach was built on two key insights:

  • Pages already ranking well in Google search were naturally receiving some unexpected LLM traffic
  • Content that met Google's quality threshold likely contained valuable information that LLMs would also favor

This strategic focus allowed Signeasy to create quick wins by enhancing already-valuable content rather than starting from scratch.

Content Optimization Strategy

We categorized Signeasy's high-performing pages into three strategic buckets:

  • Informational content clusters
  • Competitor comparison pages
  • Solution/product landing pages

For each category, we implemented these targeted optimizations:

1. Markdown Content Versions

We created markdown versions of Signeasy's key pages, making their content more easily consumable by LLM platforms. These versions were hosted directly in the root directory for maximum visibility.

2. Conversational Format Restructuring

We reformatted Signeasy's content into question-answer pairs, creating a natural conversational flow that LLMs could easily parse and cite as authoritative sources for relevant queries.

3. First-Fold Summary Sections

We added concise "Key Takeaways" or "Quick Overview" sections at the top of Signeasy's blog pages and guides, providing LLMs with an immediate understanding of each page's value and relevance.

4. Strategic FAQ Integration

We developed comprehensive FAQ sections for all of Signeasy's priority pages, packaging valuable information in the question-answer format that LLMs prefer when sourcing direct responses.

5. Schema Markup Implementation

We implemented extensive schema markup that could be easily consumed by both traditional search crawlers and LLM systems, improving content understanding and citation likelihood.

The Results

This methodical approach transformed Signeasy's LLM performance from just 15-20 unpredicted monthly sessions in September 2024 to 700-750 consistent monthly sessions within three months—a 3,650% increase with minimal resource diversion from their core SEO strategy.

We also focused on improving conversions month by month. Here’s how we saw steady growth in lead generation over the past few months:

Month Leads
January 10
February 10
March 12
April 14
May 7
June 21
July 24
Grand Total 98

With a total of 98 leads, we've consistently improved conversion rates, with a remarkable increase of 71% in leads from April to July.
