Overview

Pages at positions 4 to 10 often collect thousands of impressions and very few clicks. The CTR Optimisation Agent finds them in Google Search Console every Monday, reads the queries behind each page, and checks what the top US English results promise that yours don't. It drafts new meta titles and descriptions with the numbers and reasons behind each change, then sends them to Slack for your approval. Nothing changes on your site until you say yes.

Capabilities

It works from your connected Search Console property and tracked Pages, reads the current title and meta from your CMS, and checks live Google results in the US. It runs on a weekly schedule or on demand, and it stops at Slate's review gate before anything is published.
Opportunity Finder | Shortlists pages with high impressions, an average position between 4 and 10, and CTR well below what that position usually earns, then ranks them by the clicks they're missing.
Query & Intent Review | Splits each page into the queries driving its impressions and separates real targets from long conversational or off-topic queries that a title change won't win.
SERP Benchmarking | Reads the US English top 10 for each page's main queries and notes what wins the click there: counts, years, formats, definitions, product pages or how-to guides.
Evidence-Backed Rewrites | Drafts meta titles under 60 characters and descriptions under 155, each with impressions, clicks, CTR, average position and the reason for the change.

How it works

1

Find the Gaps | Every Monday the agent pulls the last 30 days of Search Console data and flags pages at positions 4 to 10 whose CTR is low for their position.

2

Read the Queries | For each page it lists the queries behind the impressions and checks which ones the page should actually win.

3

Benchmark the SERP | It reviews the top-ranking US results, compares their titles and snippets with yours, and checks whether the page matches the search intent.

4

Approve in Slack | You get a Slack message with current and proposed titles and metas. Approve the ones you want, and Slate updates them in your CMS.

What the agent does

Connect Search Console and your CMS, and the agent runs every Monday. It finds page-one pages with impressions but few clicks, analyses their queries and the top US English results, and returns proposed meta titles, meta descriptions and search intent fixes with the evidence for each. You approve in Slack before anything goes live.
