Summary: Slate MCP Server with Claude connector. Workflow versioning, If/Else conditions, block reordering, and recurring execution for workflows. Fanout queries in AI Tracker. Row-level execution, auto-run, and auto-dedupe for Sheets.
This month brings major upgrades across Workflows, AI Tracker, Sheets, and a brand-new way to use Slate through Claude.
Slate MCP Server + Claude Connector
Connect Slate to Claude and interact with your workspace through natural conversation. The Slate MCP connector lets Claude access your analytics, workflows, and sheets data directly.
What you can do:
- Query AI search analytics — visibility, citations, sentiment — by asking Claude
- Trigger and monitor workflow runs from a Claude conversation
- Read and update sheet data without opening the Slate dashboard
- Create workflows from templates through natural language
Use case: Ask Claude "Summarize my AI search visibility for the past 7 days and show me the top cited domains" and get a consolidated report instantly.

Workflow Versioning
You can now publish workflow versions to safely edit without breaking live workflows. Each time you publish, Slate saves an immutable snapshot of your workflow configuration.
What you can do:
- Edit your draft freely while the live version keeps running
- View version history and compare past configurations
- Roll back to any previous version instantly
- Redraft a past version to use as a starting point for new changes
- Add version notes to describe what changed in each publish

If/Else Condition Block
Workflows now support conditional branching. The new If/Else block lets you split your workflow into two paths based on conditions you define.
What you can do:
- Branch workflows based on values from previous steps
- Use 8 operators: equal to, not equal to, greater than, less than, contains, and more
- Combine multiple conditions with AND/OR logic
- Nest conditions inside loops for advanced processing
Use case: Check if a keyword's search volume is above 1,000 before generating a full article — otherwise, skip to the next keyword.

Workflow Block Reordering
You can now reorder blocks in the workflow builder. Drag and drop blocks to rearrange the execution order without rebuilding your workflow from scratch.
Recurring Workflow Execution
Schedule workflows to run automatically on a recurring basis. Set up one-time or repeating schedules — per minute, hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly — with timezone support and custom input parameters.
What you can do:
- Schedule workflows to run at specific times
- Create recurring schedules with flexible frequency options
- Set different input parameters for each schedule
- Pause, resume, or delete schedules at any time
Use case: Run a competitor analysis workflow every Monday at 9 AM and have the results ready before your weekly standup.

Fanout Queries in AI Tracker
A new Search Terms tab in AI Tracker reveals the internal search queries — also called fanout queries — that AI platforms run when answering your tracked prompts. See exactly what ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI platforms search for behind the scenes.
What you can do:
- View the top search terms AI platforms use when researching your brand
- Spot rising and trending queries with period-over-period comparison
- Track a discovered search term as a new monitored prompt with one click
- Filter by platform, prompt, location, and date range
Use case: Discover that AI platforms frequently search "CRM pricing comparison 2025" when answering prompts about your product, then create content targeting that exact query.
Row-Level Execution in Sheets
Sheets now support running all workflow columns for a single row with one click. A play button appears on every row — click it to execute all workflow columns in that row sequentially.
What you can do:
- Run all workflows for a specific row without selecting individual columns
- Stop a running row mid-execution if needed
- Process rows one at a time for testing or selective execution
Auto-Run New Rows
Enable auto-run to trigger workflow execution automatically whenever new rows are added to a sheet. No manual intervention needed — add data and workflows run in the background.
What you can do:
- Toggle auto-run on from the sheet Settings dropdown
- New rows execute all workflow columns sequentially
- Rows flagged as duplicates are automatically skipped
Auto-Dedupe Rows
Duplicate check detects rows with matching values across columns you choose. Duplicate rows are highlighted, skipped by auto-run, and can be deleted in bulk.
What you can do:
- Enable duplicate check from the sheet Settings dropdown
- Choose which columns to compare for detecting duplicates
- Delete all duplicate rows in one click while keeping originals
